Performing healthy living habits is the best way to avoid illness and improve quality of life. Eating healthy foods, exercising, and managing emotional stability has an impact in maintaining health. Here are the tips to be able to maintain body health for women.

Eat natural foods

Packaged and processed foods generally contain high levels of sugar, salt, and calories, and unhealthy fats. So, you should choose a healthy type of natural foods such as:

  • Fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Grains
  • High fiber foods
  • Fresh fish
  • Beef and lean poultry
  • Foods that contain healthy fats like nuts, seeds, olive oil, etc.
  • Low-fat milk

Eating foods containing lean protein, healthy fats, proper carbohydrates, and fiber is better than a strict diet.

Maintain emotional stability

Generally, women are often under stress due to work, children, family, friends and workplace situations. Overstress can trigger some diseases, such as:

  • High blood pressure
  • Upper abdominal pain
  • Back pain
  • Insomnia
  • Weight gain

To keep yourself from stress, you can do things like:

  • Yoga or Tai-chi
  • Sports
  • Meditation
  • Massage

Exercising daily

The body will become healthier if more moving. Exercise can help maintain heart health, build muscle and bone strength, and overcome health problems. Do sports such as brisk walking or dancing for 2.5 hours each week or doing harder sports such as running or swimming for 105 minutes each week. However, if the job is too busy then you can exercise by walking as much as 10,000 steps per day.

Have an ideal weight

Generally, women are more worried when experiencing weight gain or have more than normal weight. If the calculation of Body Mass Index (BMI), a person has an unideal body weight, then she needs to do weight loss. Exercising and eating healthy foods is the key to losing weight. Try to lose 1-2 kilograms or 2.2-4.4 pounds weight every week.

Conduct a routine medical checkup

Conducting regular health checks can help track your medical history and can help you stay healthy. For example, when the results of a medical examination indicate that a woman is at risk for osteoporosis, the doctor can provide calcium or vitamin D with the right dose to maintain bone strength. If you do not have a health problem then you can perform a routine medical examination at least once a year.

Doing healthy habits

Make a decision to choose a healthy life in order not to experience health problems in the future.

  • Brush your teeth at least twice a day and use floss after each meal
  • Do not smoke
  • Not consuming alcohol
  • If consuming the drug, then it should be as recommended by the doctor
  • Have quality and sufficient sleep (8 hours a day)
  • Use sunscreen when it comes to activity under the sun

Strong women need a healthy body. By applying healthy living habits, you are able to improve your health and endurance.
