James Wan seemed reluctant to waste his time. After officially completing the production of the film Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, he is currently busy filming The Nun 2.
This was announced by the Australian director through his personal Instagram account, on April 29 last. “NUN 2 – started production with @michaelchaves as director,” Wan said as quoted from his upload, Monday (May/2/2022).
She added, “Welcome back Michael and Bonnie Aarons (the nuns) to #TheConjuringUniverse. Here are some photos where Bonnie haunts me in her costume on the set of The Conjuring 2.”
Previously, Warner Bros. announced plans to work on The Nun 2 at the CinemaCon 2022 event in Las Vegas, United States, last year. Unfortunately, the production house is still keeping the details of the plot and the list of the film’s players secret.
However, they announced that Akela Cooper would replace Gary Dauberman as a screenwriter for the film. The Nun is a prequel to The Conjuring 2, which features a demon named Valak.
